Through OTELP, OPELIP, and OIIPCRA, IRDMS promoted climate-smart agriculture in tribal
and smallholder regions. Farmers adopted diversified cropping systems, kitchen gardens,
and sustainable horticulture, which improved productivity, household nutrition, and farm
incomes. By combining modern agronomy with indigenous practices, the interventions built
food security and resilience in some of Odisha’s most vulnerable communities.
